October 23, 2024: Lakota East Mens Soccer team faces off against Middletown in their first postseason playoff game. Senior Chris Mfuranzima started by scoring an early goal off Middletown's goalkeeper's hands. Middletown answered back but East senior Luis Perez-Luna scored a goal to end the first half. Scoring slowed in the second half and halted at 2-1 with East in the lead. The Thunderhawks took the win and will move forward to play Beavercreek this Saturday.
